Almost all comedians hired by the Second City have spent time taking classes at the Second City Training Center. The Second City faculty are key to developing talent and engagement in the company and in the comedy community as a whole. AICE empowers the educators to organize with one another so that they can have a productive conversation when negotiating with the Second City leadership. Our union gives all faculty, facilitators, and music directors a seat at the table when official decisions are made. Our priorities: Getting a first contract (done!)
